Vangibath powder

Ingredients:                               Preperation time : Around 20 minutes.

  • 1 cup - Chana dhal
  • 0.5 cup Urad dhal
  • 1 cup Coriander seeds
  • 2 pieces cinamon
  • 5-6 Cloves
  • Piece of Nutmeg
  • 8=10 Red chillies(to taste). Method;
  1. Dry roast channa dhal until golden in colour,
  2. Dry roast Urad dhal,
  3. Dry roast coriander seeds,cinamon, cloves and nutmeg until you get a good smell.
  4. Do not burn it.
  5. Add chillies and also roast for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Let it cool down.
  7. Dry grind in a mixer.
  8. Store it in a air tight jar,
  9. You can use for months.
  10. Note:I do not add  dessicated coconut to this powder as it preserves for a long time.
  11. You can add the coconut to the vegetables or rice.
