Badam Burfi

Preparation time: 10 mins
Cooking time: 10 mins
                                                                                 



Ingredients: 

  • 200g Almond sticks
  • 300g Sugar
  • 7 tbsp Ghee
  • 3 tbsp Milk Powder
                                                                               
Preparation Method:
  1. In a non-stick pan add the 300 gms of sugar and little water for the sugar to melt, until it forms a stringy consistency.
  2. Powder the almond sticks and add them with the milk powder to the pan, mix them well to avoid lumps, then add 2-3 tbsp of ghee and mix well.
  3. Once the mixture is thickens obtaining a shine, mix-in the rest of the ghee.
  4. Let the whole mixture stabilise for 10 minutes. Then empty the contents onto a greased surface, flattening it with a rolling pin.
  5. Use a pizza-cutter to cut diamond shapes into it.
